So, You Found Some Fellow Potter Heads, Now What?

Running a meet up group can be grueling. It's much like taking on a second full time job and not getting paid for it. It's rewarding but can be tough, to say the least. This panel will deal not so much with starting a group, but keeping an existing group growing. We will touch base on the basics of starting a group and answer question that may be asked in that regard, but our primary focus will be for people who already have an established group of any size. This panel will focus on the nitty gritty of maintaining a meetup group. We will discuss site maintenance, keeping members informed via social-networking, meetup events and discussion topic ideas, dealing with difficult members, finding event venues, and other issue a meetup organizer encounters on a regular basis.
