Build-a-Potter
Denise Clarkston

In this Build-a-Potter workshop, we will be constructing Harry Potter die cut characters that you can use as an embellishment in your scrapbooks or as a pin to wear. Each person will be given a kit that will contain materials to complete 2 characters from the Harry Potter fandom. The kits will also include step by step instructions on how each character is constructed. I'll show you tips on how the base forms were trimmed and reassembled to depict sitting, running or even riding a broom.  Crafters of all levels are welcome to participate. The workshop is limited to 25 participants.

Denise is a huge fan of Harry Potter, Star Wars and Pirates of the Caribbean. She helps with guest relations at the Dallas Comic Con conventions in the Dallas-area and has even spent time in Chewbacca's hot tub - unfortunately he wasn't in it at the time. When she's not torturing patients at her day-job as an exercise physiologist, she's teaching dance, scrapbooking and card-making. Denise is an accomplished crafter and one of her crafts has been accepted for the Harry Potter Art Project. As a member of the HPDFW meet-up group she has been luring others into crazy ideas for a while and is more than happy to share the fun with fellow HP fans at Infinitus. Denise is a full-time  servant for her poodle-mix, April May June, whose name is bigger than she is.
